CoVered

My name is Jonas Fritsch and I am a PhD student at the University of Aarhus, Institue for Information and Media Studies. I have a master in Information Studies from 2006 with a thesis entitled “Rethinking embodiment - towards new Foundational Perspectives in Interaction Design” with a supplementary education in “Aesthetics and Communication” from la Nouvelle Sorbonne, Paris 3 and Multimedia Studies, University of Aarhus. During my time as a student I have been engaged in various design projects e.g. working with projects at the center for Interactive Spaces, University of Aarhus.

After finishing my master, I have been working as a self-employed interaction designer at KMD creating a “digital schoolbag” called eBag (a commercialized project from the University of Aarhus, now an independent company) and on various projects with Danfoss. I have also been affiliated with the businesses Cordura (www.cordura.dk) and Yoke Interaction Design(www.yoke.dk) that are both in the interaction design industry. Before starting the PhD programme in February 2008, I have been teaching design at Aarhus University in various courses.

My PhD project is entitled "Affective Experience as a Theoretical Foundation for Experience-Oriented Interaction Design", I started in February 2008 and should be finished in 2011.
